Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tested positive for COVID-19 and is recovering at home after experiencing symptoms, her office said Sunday.

The New York Democratic congresswoman says she received her booster shot this fall and is encouraging “everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance.”

Her announcement comes after Reps. Jim Cooper, Sean Casten, and Young Kim announced they also tested positive on Saturday.

All three have said they’ve received their booster shots as well and are feeling fine or experiencing mild symptoms.

The announcements also come at a time when COVID-19 cases are on the rise. On January 7, there were 831,304 new cases, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
